So today my biggest struggle has been my job. For the past week I have been so stressed over it, and I ache, and I've gotten many migraines. The people at work have been worse than ever, and I honestly just wanted to quit. I was laying in my bed earlier crying over my job. It's easily one of the hardest things I've had to put up with.
My job doesn't sound that hard, but unless you work in fast food, you have NO IDEA!
I work at McDonald's and I really feel like it shouldn't be as hard as it is. But it really is.

I knew the Bible must say something about work, and how to deal with it, so I googled "What the bible says about work" and it came up with something awesome.
This is the site it brought me to: Bible Verse About Work
Some of the verse stuck out more than the others.

Psalm 128:2
You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. (NIV)
Proverbs 12:11
Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense. (NIV)
Proverbs 14:23
All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. (NIV)
Proverbs 18:9
One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys. (NIV)
Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' (NIV)
1 Corinthians 4:12
We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; (NIV)
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (NIV)
Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, (NIV)
2 Thessalonians 3:10
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat." (NIV)
1 Timothy 4:10
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. (NIV)

Reading these really helped me see that God has provided multiple solutions in multiple situations. I may hate my job, but at least I have a job, and I should feel privlaged for that. I should feel honored that God put me there, because he's proud of me for it, and he's proud of me when I am a diligent worker, even in times of trouble.

This song was stuck in my head all day, ever since I started thinking about how horrible my job was, and how much I wanted to quit, and ironically I was wearing the shirt with this quote on it today.

God works in funny ways, tying everything together. This song really helped me humble down to even want to read about work, and to realize that God is with me through everything, so I shouldn't have to worry, because he is doing great things in me.

I started tearing up while I was reciting the lyrics in my head
"Be strong in the Lord and
Never give up hope.
You're gonna do great things
I already know."

I've been feeling like I will never make it in life past high school, like I will always fail and I'll work at McDonald's forever. When I want to be a doctor, like really bad. I've never wanted anything more in my life. I'll just sing this song to myself when I'm feeling down about myself and my

My theme song for today (as well as many days) is this song. Everything about this song is beautiful and it gets to me everytime.
I looked up verse about worry and anxeity - some things I've been dealing with lately- and I came up with Matthew 6:25-34.

It amazed me how applicable it was to my worries right now.
I worry if I'll ever find a man, or if I'll ever amount to anything, and if I'll loose opportunities.
I worry that my friends hate me, and that I annoy everyone, and that everyone thinks I'm hideous.

But this set of verses was saying how we shouldn't even worry when God-who takes care of the birds in the sky- takes care of us, and we are so much more significant to him.
